  • Should be Empty:

Most of the requirements are self explanatory, however, these supplementary notes should help with completion.

Your name, email address and phone number are important to us and will enable us to get back to you if we need more information. For the 'Location of Sighting', please enter appropriate information, for example, nearest road, name of woodland, village or town. Please also provide the grid reference and/or postcode area (at least the first 3 figures eg. NE15). You can also describe the location in 'Other Relevant Information'. This can also be used for adding any other details about the squirrel(s) eg. number seen, health, sex, appearance features (such as the colour of the tail).

Grid Reference
To identify the approximate grid reference for your sighting, click
here to link to the Ordinance Survey site (which will open in a separate window) and follow these instructions.

  1. In the 'Search' box in the top left hand corner, enter a post code or a place name and press 'enter' or click 'GO';

  2. If you enter a place name and more than one exists, a window of the different ones will appear. Click the one relevant to your sighting;

  3. On the map, place your cursor (which appears as a plus sign) over the location of the sighting and click. This will zoom in on the location and list the grid reference;

  4. Make a note of the 'Grid Reference at Centre' which is below the map. This has 4 elements, eg AB 123 456 GB. Add to the form. Please note that it is also possible to copy and paste the reference into the form.
